Jessica is originally from Edmond, Oklahoma, and graduated from Edmond North High School as an Oklahoma Academic Scholar. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 2014, where she graduated magnum cum laude. She ended her academic endeavors as a merit scholar at Oklahoma City University, where she earned her Juris Doctorate in 2017. During law school, Jessica interned at the Jodi G. Marquette American Indian Wills Clinic.

Jessica now lives in Oklahoma City with her German shorthaired pointer, Jackson. Together, they enjoy learning new tricks, going on long walks, and spending time with family and friends. Jessica is also an avid reader, crafter, and true crime junkie.
